Self-Publishing Checklist

books (1)

Since self-publishing The Mother of All Meltdowns, along with twenty-nine fellow bloggers, I’ve had a lot of people approach me asking what was involved. In full disclosure, book marketing is my day job. I work primarily with self-published authors who are looking to promote their new books or expand their reach of older titles. While I’m not going to give away all of my secrets (I do get paid to market books), I am going to share the skeleton of a self-publishing checklist that can be customized to meet your specific needs. Enjoy!

If you are interested in self-publishing a book or need some assistance with promotion, give me a shout. I’d be happy to provide a quote or point you in the right direction.

Thanks for sharing your experiences with this list! I am in the final editing process of my book (just got it back form my editor yesterday) and the process is still overwhelming even with the help of a publishing consultant. There’s plenty of things on this list I hadn’t thought of. Thanks for paying it forward!
